The Parent Pact is a way to band together with other parents in your area to agree to delay getting your child a smartphone until at least 14, and social media until 16.

It’s all about strength in numbers – if your child knows that other kids in their class won’t be getting a smartphone for a few years either, the peer pressure instantly dissolves.

It takes 30 seconds to sign the Parent Pact, and the more of us who do, the quicker we'll change the social norm.

Join the growing movement

The Parent Pact is spreading fast. Over 140,000 families have signed in just eight months, from over 40% of schools in the UK.

Collective action made easy

The Parent Pact’s all about making local collective action simple. You can see how many others in your child’s class, school and county have signed on our live leaderboards – then connect with likeminded parents via our SFC WhatsApp groups.

Famous parents are joining the movement

The Parent Pact helps parents everywhere delay together. Parents across the country are signing up – including a few household names.

I love what Smartphone Free Childhood are doing, because I believe this is the most urgent public health issue of our time. It’s not just a parent issue, it’s a human issue.
